okay just wanted to test out some fraps/adobe premiere as i haven't messed with premiere since a halo2 montage that never got finished.

archimonde is the last boss in hyjal, this fraps is from a little while back. he's total farm content so i figured it'd be a good fight for me to work out fraps'ing again. if you guys like the quality i could make more. sunwell videos etc. or any fights that you guys want to see in hyjal/bt.

Pretty cool fight, can't wait till I see what Hyjal is like. I did Gruuls and Mag today with a friends guild, I need to apply to one so I can start raiding, it's fuuuuuun.

And what was the music?

music was "levitate" by spor, ewun, and evol intent. they're from lifted music label, based out of england.

archimonde is some big bad super-lore villian man guy thing. he's draining the life-tree. which should kill the world or whatever.

so we have to kill him.


the fire spawning is called doomfire. it spawns at him, and targets someone, and chases them. if you get hit by it, it gives you a LONG debuff that deals a lot of damage. it is a bitch to heal through so it needs to be avoided.

the entire time, archimonde does a thing called "air burst." this launches someone up into the air, and everyone around them. you need to use an item called "tears of the goddess" so you don't die from fall damage.

if at any point in time, someone dies. archimonde gains a buff called soul charge. depending on class, there are three different kinds of soulcharge. one is a DoT, one is a silence, and one is a buff where he deals more damage (or maybe we take more damage, cant remember we dont really die too much on archi anymore). if one person dies, it's like to cause a chain reaction and a lot of people will die, causing a wipe.

once you hit 10% left on archimonde, he knows he is beaten. and tries to use an ability called "finger of death" which normally hits you for 99,999dmg, but the nights elfs come and giving you a blessing called "protection of elune" and you're immune to it. so you finish him off.

then you collect t6 helm and some other loot. :]
