Are Priests fun or does it get boring healing people / rezzing all the time?

I think I've narrowed down the class I will play to something that uses Magic (Yah, not that narrow, but it elimanates a few classes).

Is Priest fun to play?

I would say Shadow Priests are the most fun to play, leveling a Holy Priest sucks....but they are always needed. I have a 24 Shadow Priest and it's pretty fun to play. Hope this helps you.

I have never played one but i know that they can rape in pvp if played right and ive heard they are fun to play so idk im going to make one sometime and try it out myself but for now idk

Yea i play a preist to about lvl 20. They are hard to lvl at low lvls. And holy preists are really hard but shadow is fun. My friend is playing on rite now and he says you die alot up until lvl 40.

i have only had one magic based char. but i like my undead warlock. its a lot of fun and i got to lvl 16 in about 1 week of only playing about 3-4 hrs a day. i can kill up to lvl 20 monsters at lvl 16 without being hit.

Priest's aren't that bad to level once you get to level 20.. After that it's VERY EASY.. can take 2-3 mobs at a time.. Have 54 Shadow Priest... But yea it really is a fun class to play.

lol, shadow priests are sweet. Definatly doesn't hurt to have one in your party for an instance, the de-buff that gives your party heals based off of the shadow-damage you do is friggin' GREAT. Having a Shadow-priest and a healer running through an instance, and your group should NEVER whipe. Not to mention, Mind Control for PvPing is absolutly hilarious.

shadow priests are sort of like warlocks... i have a lvl 29 one... i do bgs with my twink friend, i just run around dotting everybody, and then i heal him...

i think bg healing is fun

but anyways, i can get to 19 in like less than 15 hours /played

desecrator, where did u get the windows in ur sig that show ur stats of ur toons, similar to the ones at halojunkws, imo healing instances is as fun as watching paint dry. basically the reason why i quit my 70 shaman for my 61 mage and 37 warrior. i dont like being forced to heal unless its myself. its boring as hell just to sit and watch percentages go up and down all day... my friends shadow priest rapes but if u like good gear and instance runs its hard to find a slot as shadow

i have a shadow priest (who was holy at 60) and i'll tell you that priests are absolutely awesome to play.

holy priests are a dying breed; druids, shammys, and pallys are all outhealing priests a majority of the time, but you don't see many groups run without shadow priests anymore. they do awesome dmg, can do awesome dmg, and level fast. they're really fun to play. make sure you roll undead. devouring plague is the most ownage thing for a shadow priest.

id be glad to show you the ropes too.

shadow priests:
vampiric embrace - a percentage of the shadow dmg you deal is given to your party in the form of hp
vampiric touch - same as VE, but mana instead.
shadow form - 15% more shadow dmg done, 15% less dmg taken.
aoe fear, mind flay, dots, debuffs.

PLUS - you can always drop shadowform and heal people up. it's awesome.

I love priests. My cousin has a Level 70 holy priest and I dont mind healing at all. I respec'd his priest to Shadow and its one of the best classes to play imo. The worst part about leveling is getting to 40. Once at 40 and you get Shadowform your set to get to 70
