View Full Version : Horde PvP - Arathi Basin
I've noticed that Pvping at levels 30-39 in the Arathi Basin, The Horde almost ALWAYS wins. Why is this so? Like it's almost a complete rape every time we go to the Basin. So does the alliance just not have very good stats at this level or whats up?

For the most part... Alliance seem to be extremely zerg happy (lets run around in huge groups and just out-number and over-power everything!) which is why BG's like AB, and EoTS seem to *almost* never really work for them. Horde are generally more independant, so instead of all 15 people running around together capping one flag at a time, they'll break off into 3-4 3-5 man groups... or even just run around solo. AB's definatly a ''split up and conquer'' type game.
It's the same reason Alliance seem to generally do so well in AV against Horde. Alliance tend to tighten up and mass through the BG just destroying everything (in sheer numbers)... thus getting them to Drek faster, and being able to kill him faster then the Horde.
That's also why WSG is so much of a toss-up... Alliance can full 8-10 man rush the flag (which happens most of the time) basically pummeling everyone mid-field... grabbing the flag, and running it back to the base for the score, where only 1-2 people can generally play defense for the alliance in WSG... because horde get so broken/split up with the mid-field fight, so generally only 2-3 people ever actually make it to the base in attempt to get the flag.
From my personal experience in both Battlegrounds and world PvP... horde seem to do much better ''soloing'' or working in small groups, while alliance bank very heavily on consistantly being in a decent sized group to do most of their fighting.

Ive noticed the same things.
When I was level 39 Horde once won an AB 20-2000.
We just had 2 people get each base and the rest went stables we got that and then farmed them for the min that followed.
